Can the consulate find my info

When I first came to USA as a student, I did not tell them that my sister was here too. But when my parents tried to come last year,they told the consulate that we were both here. If I want to go back China this summer, what should I say? Could I keep saying that I do not have relatives in USA or they can find it out from my parents record?
