Dear xbt,
Right now I am graduating and about to have a job offer soon. My current status is F1 with OPT expires next June. As you can see, I have at least 4-month gap before I can work with H1B in 2007.
Here is my questions:
1. If I use H4 to cover my gap, once I have my H1b approved, do I need to go outside of US for the visa stamp?
2. If so, I can register another F1 program (such as community college) to cover the gap? If so, do I need to stamp my H1b visa too?
3. Would you please to explain when the visa stamp is necessary? What's the rule behind it?
Thank you for your help!
