I got 140 (EB2) approved through PERM last year and hopefully about to file I485 for myself and my wife (dependant) as well. The thing for us is that we are leaving in different states and different companies. Recently, her 140 (EB3--RIR) also got approved and the PD is close. I read a few posts online but still not clear about the package. Can we both file two complete separate I485 application packages? For instance, if my processing time (EB2) becomes current next month, I can file our I-485 as I am the primary applicant and she is dependant. If her processing time (EB3) becomes current after that, can she file another 485 as she is the primary applicant and I am dependant? One post mentioned that it would make the process complicate if file two I485.
Second question, since we are living in different states, can we have our local surgeons for the examination?
Thank you very much for your help, really appreciate it.
XiaoBaiBu and PPLs, do we need two separate I485 packages?
