XIAOBAITU, TWOCENTS AND ALL EXPERTS, What is "the A file"?

I got a letter from NSC in which said “The NSC has requested your file from the District Office in New York. Your I-485 application cannot be adjudicated without the A file.”

What’s means “the A file”?
