My case is similar to yours: filed I140 & I485 concurrently March 2005 in California Service Center, then I140 approved July 2005, then fingerprinting in Aug 2005. But no update after that. Inquired the CSC but replied "ongoing name check by FBI". What it takes so long? I heard most applicants will be cleared "namecheck" in 6-12 months.
