H1B visa stamp interview at Montreal Consulate

I am going to Montreal to apply for my new H1-B visa stamp. I have a Canadian Greencard and landed in Toronto, ON last year. Will the Montreal Consulate refuse my appliation because I do not reside in Quebec? Anyone have any experience in this regard?
