Hi,
My H-1B status expired on August 31, 2006. Human Resources sent my H-1B extension to INS today (Sept 11, 2006) because they forgot to do it on time. I do not know what would be happen (maybe I need to go home to get a visa back later?). My question is whether I still can work legally for my current employer from now on to the date of my extension petition approval.
Any reply will be highly appreciated.
Thanks
Can I still work legally?
