So a future grant (offer) won't help much?

You mean if USCIS find out I work in other field, they likely to deny my 485? even I have a future offer that starts months away?

And if 485 denied, can I appeal or MTR? Do I need to leave when appealing is pending? If I can stay, can I still use my EAD for that period?
