急問：如果持J-1簽證，對申請綠卡有什麽樣的影響

My OPT is going to expire in Dec. I have filed NIW. The annual salary for H1B is $34000, which is higher than the amount on the post-doc offer. If I applied for J-1 instead of H-1, what side effect is going to be? Thank you very much for your kind information.
