The second question is really absurd, because they can easily check my record (e.g., H1B approval, or EAD) in their system. I just think these people are either stupid or evil.

RFE:
1. Please documentary evidence which establishes that you continue to be engaged in the occupation that is the basis of your national interest waiver. Such evidence may include, but is not limited to: a currently dated letter from your present employer; copies of recent and/or ongoing publications or research; copies of recent awards, grants or fellowships; or other such documentation confirming that you intend to carry out the terms and conditions of the underlying Form I-140 immigrant visa petition.

2. Please proof of your continuous employment authorization in the US from January 1, 2006 to the present. Such evidence may include copies of:

* EAD (Form I-688 or I-766) granted to you by this service.
* Form I-797 approval notices showing you were granted status in an employment-authorized nonimmigrant classification
* Copies of Form I-94 Arrival/Departure Records showing you were admitted to the US in an employment-authorized nonimmigrant status
