I am. (EB2-LC)
PD: 2002/10
140/485 concurrent filing: 1/18/2006 CSC
3/26 transferred to TSC (very lucky)
6/3 I-140 approved
8/9 I-485 approved (both self & spouse)
8/14 actual GC received in mail
It takes 6+ months for me from concurrent 140/485 filing to actual green cards received.
The processing date of TSC is very accurate for my case.
On average it is taking 6 months for TSC to process I-485 if everything else is smooth.
However, I'm not from China. My feeling is, Name check process takes much longer for Chinese than any other country/district, including HK and Taiwan. It's unfair but it's the way it is right now.
Another close friend of mine, got his 140/485 concurrent filing approved in 45 days, also at TSC this April(filed in March). It's way before the processing date. That IS very unusual and the attorney says TSC was experimenting a pilot program on some cases to see how fast they can process a case.
Yet another friend of mine got his 140/485 concurrent filing approved in 105 days at VSC this May (filed in Feb). It could be another lucky pilot program case as well.
Compared to those two, I am the slowest but I feel lucky enough.
Good luck everyone. I believe USCIS is working hard to improve the process these days.
