Tencent China seeks a candidate with native-level Mandarin Chinese writing, speaking and listening comprehension skills to work as Director of Web Design—IVAS, directly reporting to senior management. Candidates must demonstrate strong ability to think independently and strategically, and should be highly knowledgeable in cutting edge web design methodologies with a proven track record.

Job Deion: Director of Web Design—Internet Value Adding Services
• Advocate Tencent's entrance into new strategic business areas based on careful research and analysis of new Internet technologies.
• Work with product development teams to take new business concepts from concept stage to open beta and beyond.
• Identify and negotiate licensing of new technologies and services to be deployed in China.
• Work with development team to determine technical feasibility of new strategic service projects.
Positions will be based at Tencent’s headquarter in Shenzhen, China.

Candidate should possess the following attributes as a minimum requirement:
 Lead GUI and HCI team to design web-based product and services
 Train and enhance the teams’ ability in GUI and HCI
 Recruit talents for the teams
 5 year working experience in related fields, experienced in GUI and HCI, both theoretical and practical.
 Knowledge about Html/css /div/Java languages
 Bachelor degree or above, major in HCI design, industrial design, industrial psychology or designing will be a plus
 Good communication skill, management skill and self-driven
 Fluent in Simplified Chinese, both oral and writing.
