First, all applications have chance to get backgound checkup. More experience in China take more time check your background.

If U have enough working years for your application, U can think about ignoring it. That is all up to U, but U cannot leave any period gap on Ur application. If they feel your inforamtion cannot be trusted, the immigration officer also will double check your background.

The background is not checked by visa officer, it will be done in a secret department in RCMP. The time is hard to get controlled, U gonna see a lawyer to get all the details for Ur case.
