I think you may file I-485 with EB1 now, you may file

secord I-485 when your NIW pd become current.I think it's easy to use first I-485 pending to stay in USA legally if you require to reschdule your fingerprint.
If you want to use first I-485 swich to NIW,you have to get two I-140 aprval both,so this way is useless ,if your EB1 I-140 is apprved, you will get green card earlier than NIW,why do you need swich it?
