H-1 transfer, still no receipt, is it legal to stay here if my c

Me again. I reted my H-1 transfer premium processing request (actually it's H-1 Extension by new employer) on July 25 and from the delivery confirmation, VSC received on July 27. I'm still waiting for my receipt since I know as long as I receive the notice of receipt from VSC, my case is in pending, so I don't have to worry I'm out of status when my current H-1 expires on August 14. I'm little nervous, some people said they received their receipt after 3 weeks. But if I do not receive the receipt before Aus. 14, am I OK? not out of status?
