It has been said that background check most focuses on your major or job duty, especially those people who are studing or working at "sensitive" area, and usually it will finish within 30 days.

bring your diploma and EAD card if you have applied OPT. VO may ask you when you graduated (date of I-20 expiration) so can double check if you had any gap during staying at the U.S.

of course, bring original I-797a approve notice and employer letter, last two pay checks are always neccessary.
