Just want to let you know that the local office may not update the case status in time.
My case:
RD: Aug. 2005, 140/485 concurrent filing. EB1b
140 approved: Sept. 2005
485 transferred to local office: Sept. 2005
485 approved: July 10
Approved letter sent out (judged from envelop): July 20
I knew after I received the letter on July 21.
I called 1-800-375-5283 number on July 13. The operator didn’t know the case had been approved and said she would send a request to the local office. Until now there is still no update on the case status website.
The approval letter says: “You should be receiving your card within the next 9 to 12 months.”
I hope “months” is a typo.
