Documents required to file B-2 Visa Extension
1. Letter; B-2 Visa Extension Request
2. Form I-539 (You can fill out using their form online but it can only be printed, can not be saved)
3. Copy of airline ticket.
4. Statement of Financial Support for xxx (From you)
5. Supporting financial documents (I don't know if these are all necessary, but these are what I submitted)
- Copy of Affidavit of Support (I-134)
- Letter from HR stating hiring date, position and income.
- Copy of 3 months bank statements
- Copy of some stock/mutual fund statements
- Copy of my legal status papers
- Copy of notarization that states my relationship to my parents.
You also need to send in a check of $140 and the ORIGINAL I-94.
