I put visa control number as the nonimmigrant Number, a problem?

I put visa control number (the one started with the year the visa was issued) as the Nonimmigrant number in my 485? Is it corret? I see somebody talking use the red number at the lower right corner, would it be a problem if I was wrong? Thanks, please help.
