綠卡申請過程中的限速步驟

本人的綠卡申請現在卡在name check了，據說最長的有等三年的。我也曾到local FBI office問過，得到的回答是：There are big backlog, nothing they can do just wait. 我也在網上看了很多有關name check 的介紹，以及周圍朋友的情況，我覺得，不隻１０％的人被manual check。而排期隻是移民局轉移大家的視線方法，真正的問題在name check上，由於name check花費了太長的時間而造成大量案件的積壓, 記得剛開始排期的時候，很多組織發起過聯名上書的活動進行呼籲，希望也有人能組織一下對name check進行一下改革。因為如果某人真的犯過罪或是恐怖份子，他會利用各種手段更名換姓而不被查到，而真正坦然的讓FBI去check的都是清白的。
