Carryover of Priority date after 2nd I140 approved

Hello friends,

I had an EB3 140, PD 12/2002, approved a long time ago. Just did another PERM EB2 in 4/2006. I was told that the new I140 was approved, but the PD on the approval notice shows 4/2006, rather than 12/2002.

Should the old PD be carried over?
