B2 visitor visa question

We are going to apply B2 visitor visa for my sister (for two week stay). The reason we want my sister to come is to have her to bring our little daughter back to the US. Can my sister tell the officer this reason at her interview? anyone has this experience before? or maybe it is better to just tell them my sister wants to come here to visit us? thanks so much for help!
