What Radiology said are only partially right of EB1 EA. At least for my case. I am a postdoc only have one English paper, but lots of conference publications. No citation. I do have one pending patent.

As long as you can convince USCIS officer that you are qualify for at least 3 items for EB1 EA, you have a good chance to be approved.

The three items that I claimed are: 1) membership, 2) judge others work (I have reviewed tons' of papers and serve as technical members for several conferences), 3) publications and achievement. The third are supported by recommendation letters.

So do not get discouraged. Hard work plus prayer will make it work.
