據USCIS表示，在未來的時間裏將有可能不再接受I-140與I-485的同時申請(Concurrent
filings) ，即申請人必須在其I-140被批準後才可以提出I-485申請。但就目前來說，如
果申請人隻要有一個Current priority date，其仍然可以同時申請I-140及I-485。以下
為有關消息：
Always unpredictable, USCIS has indicated that at some time in the future it
will disallow concurrent filings of Immigrant Visa Petitions (I-140s) and
Applications to Adjust Status (I-485s) even if there is a current priority
date. This news will change the employment-based petition filing procedure,
in that beneficiaries will need to have an approved I-140 as well as a current
priority date in order to file their I-485. Please note that at this time
applicants are still allowed to concurrently file their I-140 and I-485 if
they have a current priority date. It is predicted by some that this change
will take place at that same time that certain I-140s, I-765s, and I-539s are
included in premium processing. If you have not heard about this announced
but not yet enacted change, please click here. It is not clear at this time
whether concurrent filing will still be available to National Interest Waiver
applicants, since premium processing will not be available to them. Watch
