Call them to get a copy!

First, never ever expect the visa officer will check the
record online though anyone know it will be so easily to
do so. He will definitely deny your application.

Call the INS service center in which you applied status
extension for your parents three years ago and you may
ask them to issue you a copy of the approval letter, of
course you will be charged for the fee.

Finally, you can find the phone # on the web site. I did
this some time ago for my parents. Hope they would still
like to do this kind of job.
