I was in dual H1B and I-485 pending status before my previous employment terminated on June 15. My new employer applied for H-1B on June 14 for my new employment starting from August 16. (1) Will the application filed by the new employer have any adverse effect to my I-485? (2) What is my status between June 16—August 15? (3) Do I have a valid H1-B status after Aug. 16? (4) Do I need to use EAD to work for my new employer?
