about name check, thanks a lot

1. Last Sep. I called uscis about i-140 and two weeks later my 140 got approved. One month later a response mailed to me. That letter says my 485 can not be resumed due to the non-availability of visa. Does that also mean that my NC has been cleared?

2. I transfered to another university six years ago and I forgot to notice uscis the change of my address till 3 years later. Did that affect my name check?
