日本签H1B的问题

中國畢業的博士，在日本做博士後近1年， 今年欲去美國洛杉磯某大學做博士後，申請H1B簽證， 2003年底已經開始辦的。問：1）多長時間可以搞定,包括(check) 2）在東京簽證可以嗎,是否比回北京簽容易? 3)簽證需要什 額外的手續? 請有經驗的大俠賜教, 謝謝!
