Do I need a new H!b Visa back to USA?

I am chinese and in H1B status now, it is valid tile Oct, 2007. I need go to Canada Division og My company for 2 weeks. I will apply for a Intra-Company Transferee. Any one here could tell me do I need an US embassy in Canada to get a new H1B-visa? Some one says I dnt need it if i say in Canada for less than 30 days. By the way, how much do I need pay for Canadian Visa. Thanks alot.
