We have made this a bit strong case through our efforts.
1. email FBI every week and got no reply, keep records
2. email INS every month to check the NC status, as you know CSC has a email address to contact, but they stop replying recently, keep all the contact records
3. contact 4 senators and 1 local congresswoman for help, they have all checked with FBI but no progress, keep all the emails and letter records
4. write to FBI director, DHS director and INS director get no reply, keep all the letter records
5. write to president and first lady and did get reply, keep records
We have a big pile of papers when we are ready to file the lawsuit.
we started to prepare WOM file since May after we knew our PD will become current in June. We have talked to a sucessful lawyer in bayarea(she won a couple of cases for NC) and she wants us to hold until our PD is current. We took her advice but do not want to spend $2000+ fee since everything is pretty much ready. Then We filed the last day of May to North CA district court. All the defendents received the complaint at begining of June. US attorney did a great job in this process
I am very thankful to immigration.com for all the useful information and all the templates it provides. I am just following upon their efforts.
Hope this helps.
