To xiaobaitu -- 485 and H1B

I have two questions to trouble you to look into --

1, My spouse and I are individually filing our GC. Could we put each other's name on I-485 application as a family member and file our own case meanwhile? Some people here said that either you file your own case or put your name on the spouse's application. I would like to hear your advice.

2, I am currently holding an H-1B visa. I might want to do a part-time job which is not affiliated with my current employer. Hence, I need to apply for a second H-1B visa for sure. My question is whether my application would occupy the H-1B slot this year.
