my hu*****and has not submit 485 yet. and we plan to submit together.

the problem is my own GC application and it is LC(Back log center) step. someone told me, if i join my hu*****and's 485. my own GC application will be void.

my question is, my own process will be stoped automatically or i need to inform INS or my lawyer?
