I started PERM document around 08/2005 and filed around 11/2005. and got perm approved in 01/2006. then got I-140 approved last month, totally 10 months. so I can file H1b extension for 3 years instead of one year. for your case, time is enough just need to hurry, do not waste any time from now. good luck.
