急問h1 layoff之後transfer的期限有多長？

上周五被layoff, 正在找工作，paystub 顯示為6/15/06。律師說我隻有10天辦理h1 transfer, 我自己有個印象可以有60天grace period. 請各位幫忙回答！我實在很著急。
還有一個問題，我的140本來遞交了好幾個月，可能都快批了，有沒有可能轉到新的公司？
