If CIS sent the RFE letter to you, you do not need that irresponsible lawyer to file response of RFE for you. Since you have that blue paper at hand plus your lawyer wouldn't do much to help you, there is no necessery to use him. That's not the problem of $500, that's his attitude. You can not afford ruining it this time.
