加拿大landing因為short visit沒有辦成楓葉卡

我們是從大瀑布進的關，可能是因為和老媽一起去（老媽就跟我們一起順便去玩兒的），所以引起了officer的懷疑，問我們是自己的車還是租車，我們說租車。她說我們這次隻要不是physically move過來，就不能申請楓葉卡，但從這天開始就算是永久居民了。同時還問了我們在美國的情況，然後說我給我們了個表“address notification -- permanent resident card"， 說我們搬過來的時候把表寄出去就可以拿到卡了. 然後在landing paper上寫了note " H1, working and staying in USA. given address notification."

真是不順。感覺這個口可能進出的人比較多，officer要tough一些。不知大家有沒有碰到過這種情況的。我們仔細研究了這個address notification的表。上麵明明寫著“notifiy address within 180 days of the entry into canada. otherwise, there will a applicable fee ...."這不是說180天之內就得交表嗎。也沒說非得physically move進來啊。大家誰有這樣的經驗啊？
