i have almost the sme situation with you. please leave your email. want to have a talk? i used to have J1, and F1 visa in usa and then immigrated to canada last year in June.
Normallly yo ucan get your visa because you are legal when you ware waiting for asyllum in usa. why don't you wait for that in usa? before you come out, you maybe need to apply teh returning permit?
are you going to apply new visa if the new bill pass?
