I took the NIW category. I was not very lucky in terms of timing. My I-140 was submitted 9/30/2002 (PD, I guess), and approved 12/3/2003. This was done in Texas. I moved to MO in 2004, and submitted I-485 with Nebraska Center, in early 8/2004, about 8 months after I-140 approved. Now it is almost 4 years from I-140. Wish you and everyon good luck.
