can I apply for H1 after using EAD?

I am F1, graduate this May. (140 approve, and 485 pending, I am dependent). I have EAD, however, I donot use it. If I get a job offer, can I apply for H1b? can I using EAD work and apply for H1b at the same time? Thanks
