need help from I485pending

I485pending, when you renew your EAD, what kind of I-94 did you use? i don't have original I-94. I sent it to INS when I changed my status. My current I-94 is with H1B notice which was sponsored by my previous employer. I don't work with them anymore. Is my current I-94 still good? I am afraid it will confuse immigration officer.Please advise. Thanks very much.
