EAD

Sorry maybe I relay too late. Hope you can see it.

EAD can be applied together with I485 but not earlier. EAD is only valid for one year. You have to renew it every year. When my wife worked with EAD, her status is called AOS - "Adjustment of Status". An I485 applicant can be in this status as long as his case get final result.
