F1遞交I-485後到底可不可以維持原來的身份？

考了一下古，版上的回答不一致。我有如下幾個問題：
1. F-1 遞交485後是否自動失去F身份呢？如果不是，那麽是不是可以申請AP何EAD備用, 但是暫時不使用以保持valid的F1？
2. 在485pending過程中，是否可以繼續RA或TA without using EAD?
