any friend gets H1 receipt longer than 1 month?

i have a situation here: h1 transfer was filed last week, current employment will be due on June 16th. I already told me current boss about my plan to leave after I get the H1 receipt, so there will be little hope to renew the appointment. I hope to know if any one get H1 receipt longer than 1 month. Your help is appreciated.
