USCIS Director Aguirre has announced an updated backlog elimination plan to achieve six-month cycle times by the end of fiscal year 2006 (http://www.gofindlaw.com/2004,0622-backlogfsht.pdf)
I believe they can achieve this target by seting up the cut-off date. The work load can be sinificantly lower
Several my coworkers (EB2-world) got 485 approval within 3-4 monthes.
