1, All my family members are I-485 pending. We never use AP and EAD. We have H1-B. My son is H4. And we never go to abroad. Can we use H1 to return to
America safely after landing Canada? It seems have two different opinons here. One is using AP; The other is using H1.

It is better to have AP with you to be safe. You might be able to come back with H1/H4. But no guarantee. When you return, INS can see clearly from your record that you have applied for I-485. Then they might ask you for AP. It depends. My hu*****and's visa was H1 but they took his AP when we came back to US from Canada.

2. It's very hard for us to land on time. Is there some way to postpone the landing date? Who do we need to contact with?
I know a lot of people were asking the same question. But as far as I know, it can't be postphoned.
