The processing time of CA Immigration in Buffalo needs at least 1.5 year. Some of cases are over two years.

As far as the processing time is concerned, there is no difference whatever you ask immigration lawyer or do it by yourself.

In your situation, I think it is better to ask a immigration lawyer to do your applicaiton. The benefit for you is that, they can provide you a permnent mailing address even when you leave USA.

Hope you can overcome such difficult situation.
