Must the Marriage Certificate be Notarized?

Thanks for your sharing information with me. But I just prepared all the additional evidence with ONLY the copy of 1) My wife's I-140 approval notice 2) the copy of the marriage certificate.

Questions:
Is it required by INS to notarize the marriage certificate?
