LG got his GC and Daughter's and my 485 are still pending, when

LG 140 filed May 25, 2005. Approved Jun 13, 2005.
Our 485s filed together on Aug 12, 2005.
we got our FPs stemped together on Oct 14, 2005.
LG got his GC on Oct 28, 2005.
my Daughter and my EAD were aproved on Feb 28, 2006.
Our daughter and my 485 are still pending. can anyone suggest when can we get our GC?

The reason I post this question here is that LG was planning to seek another job since he thought he has stay in this position for a long time. But our daughter is accepted by his college as freshman. And the tuition can be waived a lot if LG is keeping employed in the college or if daughter can get her GC when she will be in-state. LG has to stop seeking since our daughter is accepted by his college. I worry about when can we get our GC then LG shall be more free.

Other questions are If someday LG lay-off, can our EAD be extended? how long can the EADs be extended if our 485 are still pending? how much possibility is that our 485 be denied?

Any suggestion is appreciated.
