Cancel H4 is not fast.

As I know, to Cancel H4 you have to send a letter to USCIS. And as my friend said, the cancel letter will not be processed fast enough. The immigration officer told me it is not good to cancel ("got be serious", she said). I think if you want to be sure whether you may come back using current H1 or not, you may check with the immigration building officer first at the port you are going to leave, before you exit from that port. If they insist "NO", then you have to apply for a visa in Canada. Usually those officers are not so tough as those on the phone call. If they say "yes" you can come back, then you don't worry about it, just go and come back to see if they check and record your entry in the computer. If they just let you in without recording anything, that is like you never leave U.S.

You may go to your local CIS office to ask the officer to check -xiaobaitu- 給 xiaobaitu 發送悄悄話 xiaobaitu 的博客首頁 (0 bytes) () 04/21/2006 postreply 16:55:11
