Sorry. I may misunderstand your question in my last reply.
I submitted my LC application in August 2005 and got approved one week later. Then I submitted my I-140 and I-485 in September 2005. My I-140 was approved in November 2005. Right now my I-485 is pending and I am using my EAD to work. I didn't renew my H-1B because I thought it wasn't worth too much to do so.
